My NHL All-Star Picks

The rosters for the NHL All Star Game, which will take place on January 31 in Nashville, were announced today.

This year’s game will have a new format: each of the four divisions will have its own team of 11 players (six forwards, three defensemen, two goalies) and will compete in a 3-on-3 tournament. The team who wins the tournament will receive $1 million as an incentive.

Although the NHL allowed fans to vote for the captains of each team, I will not automatically use the four captains selected – John Scott is not an All Star!

However, I will follow the rule that each team has to have at least one player featured on a roster.

Here is my take on this year’s All Star rosters.
